  LENDING A HAND <How you can help?>

A little over 2 weeks ago “Cyclone Guba” struck the decedents of Fuzzy Wuzzy Angels at the   northern end of the now popular Kokoda   Trail. They are the direct decedents of the Fuzzy   Wuzzy Angels who lend a hand to the Australian Diggers in their greatest hour of   need during   the fierce battles of World War.

Today, the decedents of these Angels NEED A HAND from the decedents of the Diggers.

Our people are now suffering at the hands of Mother Nature, following heavy flooding which   destroyed food gardens, homes, road and   bridges, schools, health centres and even took the   lives of hundreds.

Over the coming decades, the provincial economy and social services particularly health, education, law and order and other relevant   community services will be stretched to breaking point.

Already infrastructure maintenance and development are suffering and the disaster and emergency services providers and aid donors   are struggling to hold the lines.

Hundreds have been reported dead and tens of thousands will likely die from starvation and other water borne diseases as a direct   result of this disaster.

We obviously can’t remedy these massive problems alone but you can play a vital role by leading a hand to those who need it NOW,   Tomorrow and in the near Future to rebuild our lives, families, communities and our home ORO.

ESTABLISHED GOVERNMENT AGENCY & PROVATE ENTERPRISE COORDINATE EFFORT

Fuzzy Wuzzy Expeditions is a 100% LOCALLY owned and operated trekking and Tour Company on the Kokoda Trail. Fuzzy Wuzzy with   the collaboration of relevant agencies and corporate stakeholders intends to raise funds to LEND A HAND to the affected descendents   of the Fuzzy Wuzzy Angels.

  • Developing a Strategic Plan for Future Disaster & Emergency Support Services for victims in consultation with relevant government agencies, Non-Government Organization, Churches, Aid Agencies and the private sector.
