Our normal tour price is AUD$2100 per adult, plus hire of personal potters - AUD$550
(Our tour price varies for group of eight (8) or more trekkers)

This is a trek for one and all, from the young to old. It is a journey of discovery, history, adventure and personal experience.

This is a fabulous insight into a 96km trail stretching from Owers' Corner near Port Moresby to Kokoda in the Northern (Oro) Province of Papua New Guinea.
It passes through rugged mountains, rainforests, jungles of ferns, clean mountain streams which tumble into deep valleys and birds…bird…birds and orchids…orchids...orchids.

Apart from these, the Kokoda Trail passes through the locations of some of the bloodiest battles of World War 11 where the advancing Japanese infantry - under the command of Major General Tomitaro Horii - applied the most fierce battle tactics to claim Port Moresby by the backdoor and invade Australia. Traditional dancing and entertainment on welcome and farewell nights.
Inclusions:
Airfares from Kokoda to Port Moresby or vice-versa, all food and drinks for the duration of the trek (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner), tour leader's/track master's wages, transport to and from hotels and airport, three night's accommodation in hotel (2 nights in Port Moresby and 1 night in Popondetta), entertainment fees, village rest house and camp site fees, visits to national parks and museums.
General information:
- Accommodation in Port Moresby will be provided at Gateway Hotel with conditions applied for package tour;
- Package tour can be modified to suit special needs or interest as well as international arrivals and departures;
- Insurance cover is the responsibility of individual tourists;
- We suggest that all except Air Niugini sectors to be booked and ticketed by Fuzzy Wuzzy Expedition Ltd for ease of travel. This is because most third-level operators work on a charter basis;
- Customers must pay a non-refundable deposit of AUD$800 with the balance to be paid at least six(6) weeks before the trek starts (This is to enable us to run a smooth logistical arrangements prior to commencement of the trek). In the event that a client changes his/her mind of a confirmed trek, he/she may choose another date for the same trek or another trek. He/she can pay only the balance of the total cost of the next chosen trek;
- We recommend that all trekkers' pack weight should not exceed 16 kilograms;
