Trekking and tours

We are mindful of what we mean by stating trekking and   tours to be our No.1 product as we are careful not to   rush the trek and we prefer taking you on the track for   10 days which should give you time for easy days along   unstable river crossings and mountain trails where a   wrong step would be disastrous Guides and porters.

It is not an easy walk and you will be offered every   assistance by our team of highly- experienced, qualified   and certified guides and porters who are more than   familiar with the trail under the command of our track   master Osborne Bogajiwai, who crossed the Kokoda   Trail in 28 hours, 14 minutes and 30 seconds in 1986 - a record which lasted until 2004. As all our guides and porters were born in the local villages, they have walked the trail since childhood.

War relics and private museum
At Alola village - unlike other villages along the trail - we have available a private village museum which can only be visited and viewed by tourists walking under Fuzzy Wuzzy Expedition Ltd. Some of this ammunition is still live and is kept in a huge tunnel. The tunnels contains hand grenades, rusted guns, mortar bombs, helmets and human remains - a somber reminder of the fierce and bloody battles which were fought here 43   years ago.

Bird watching/wildlife/sightseeing
The general sightseeing, wildlife and bird watching are tremendous. Take photographs of the abundant   wildlife from day one of the trek to the end. You will not miss the wide variety of orchids along the trail. For bird lovers, you can have a quite time in the jungle tracking, watching and listening to the songs of the   many bird species.

River fishing/waterfalls
We permit trout fishing at Eora Creek and organise visits to the exquisite Ellai Waterfall exclusively to tourists trekking with Fuzzy Wuzzy Expedition Ltd.
